Kismayo (HornCurrent) — The President of Jubaland State, Ahmed Mohamed Islam (Madobe), received a grand welcome today at Sayid Mohamed Abdille Hassan International Airport in Kismayo, following an official working visit abroad in recent days.
The welcoming ceremony was attended by the Speaker of the Jubaland House of Representatives, Abdi Mohamed Abdirahman, members of Jubaland’s various government bodies, and a large crowd of citizens.
President Ahmed’s return marks the conclusion of his latest diplomatic and official engagements outside the country.
