Ethiopian Airlines has announced the temporary suspension of certain domestic flights due to unfavorable weather conditions across parts of the country.
In a statement released today, the airline said that heavy cloud cover and unsafe flying conditions had disrupted flights scheduled for August 21, 2025 (Nehase 13, 2017 E.C.).
“Flights to some stations have been temporarily halted due to bad weather. Once weather conditions improve, regular services will immediately resume,” the airline said.
The carrier further explained that similar weather disturbances today have continued to affect flights to specific destinations, making operations unsafe.
Ethiopian Airlines assured passengers that normal schedules will resume as soon as weather conditions allow and extended its apologies to customers for the inconvenience caused.
