North Africa – The United States is actively engaging in strategic energy discussions with major corporations to deepen commercial ties in the region. In a recent statement posted on X (formerly Twitter), the U.S. Senior Adviser for Africa announced a high-level meeting with energy giant ExxonMobil.
“Great to meet with ExxonMobil to discuss the transformational energy opportunities in North Africa,” the adviser stated, adding, “Look forward to strengthening U.S. commercial ties across the region.”
The meeting reflects Washington’s continued commitment to boosting investment, energy cooperation, and long-term economic engagement across North African countries. This aligns with broader U.S. foreign policy goals of promoting stability through economic partnerships and sustainable development.
