The Ethiopia National Dialogue Commission has been updating the international community on the activities carried out so far and the results achieved in the ongoing national dialogue process.
The briefing brought together National Dialogue Commissioners, ambassadors, representatives of international organizations based in Addis Ababa, as well as invited participants.
Professor Mesfin Araya, the Chief Commissioner of the Ethiopia National Dialogue Commission, stated that the Commission is working to bring a dialogue-based solution aimed at achieving lasting national peace, stability, and democratization.
He emphasized that the Commission is following an inclusive and participatory approach that ensures all voices are heard. He added that its work is guided by principles of independence, transparency, and credibility.
According to information shared with AMN, the Commission continues to finalize agenda-identification tasks designed to create consensus on the major issues that have challenged Ethiopia for decades.
The Commission further highlighted that ensuring effective nation-building and establishing a strong state structure remain central priorities of the ongoing dialogue.
