Addis Ababa, Sept 7 (HornCurrent) – Somalia’s President Hassan Sheikh Mohamud arrived in Addis Ababa this afternoon to attend the 2nd Africa Climate Summit (#ACS2).
The summit, hosted by Ethiopia, is expected to bring together African heads of state, policymakers, and international partners to discuss the continent’s climate priorities, renewable energy transition, and green industrialisation agenda.
President Mohamud’s participation underscores Somalia’s growing role in regional climate dialogue and its push for greater resilience against the effects of drought and environmental shocks that have long impacted the Horn of Africa.
