The Ethiopian National Defense Forces (ENDF) graduated thousands of new recruits on Saturday, August 30, in a series of ceremonies held across three major military training schools.
The new graduates are drawn from:
- Hurso Contingent Training School, which completed its 10th round of basic military training.
- Tolay High-Rank Training School, where cadets successfully concluded months of intensive training.
- Bir Sheleko Basic Military Training School, which graduated newly trained soldiers ready for deployment.
Senior military officials, families, and invited guests attended the ceremonies, which showcased the ENDF’s growing emphasis on discipline, professionalism, and readiness to safeguard the nation.
Officials highlighted that the new recruits will play a crucial role in strengthening Ethiopia’s defense capacity at a time when the country faces both internal and external security challenges.
